Whoever says the Seahawks are winning are crazy. Most people just like to hop on the bandwagon of teams that just get lucky throughout the playoffs, and it seams Seattle has had the most luck with this.
They are not a great offensive passing team, but they use the run, play action, and read option to their advantage. That being said, there defense is going to do most of the work against the Patriots, which wont work because Brady and Belichick will dismantle them like they did with the Colts. Patriots will win this superbowl 35-10 because of their now spontaneous run game with Blount and with Amendola and Edelman stepping up.
Seattle's offense was completely non-existent for 50 minutes of the whole game. You cant count the special fake field goal as an offensive play, if you do, you don't know football. Against the Patriots, if Wilson shits his pants like he did against Green Bay, Seattle will be annihilated, and to all the people who think Wilson is an "elite" QB, he is far from.
- He has been in this league for I believe 3 years and has won 1 superbowl and is going to attempt to win his 2nd one, its impressive but it does not mean the kid ranks up to Brady, Rodgers, "Pre" Brees, Manning, pedigree.
- Last years superbowl win against the Broncos was a defensive beat down of Peyton Manning where the Broncos made too many offensive mistakes and the defense of Seattle just tore up the game. Wilson was not named mvp, because he did not contribute to the overall main reason why Seattle won.
- Do you guys still remember who Colin Kaepernick is? He runs the same type of style Wilson does theoretically, and this past year he hasn't been to great. That was due to a different style of play calling by the offensive coordinator in San Fran, which contradicts what Kaepernick thrives on. Sooner or later the same will happen in Seattle, trust me, the style of read option/out of pocket qb's doesnt work in the long run. By all credit San Fran and Seattle have had a astounding 3 years of dominant football, but both are starting to decline.
My whole point in this was not to "bash" Wilson or fans of him or Seattle, but more to inform them of my opinion on the situation. You can think whatever you want, it's your right by all means, but sometimes it's not always right, same goes for myself. But seriously, if you really think Seattle can beat Belicheck, then I will wager 1 ref for every person that contacts me through steam. Seattle wins, I give you 1 ref, Pats win i get 1 rec. Sounds fair, if your a true Seattle fan, bet with me.
