Although we are primarily a TF2 community, we know that a lot of you like to play other games! Perhaps this event may introduce you to a new game to get sucked into!
What is osu!?
osu! is a free game that you can download off of their website and their gameplay consists of rhythm/music mechanics. The "main" game type, osu!, consists of clicking buttons and following sliders as a beatmap progresses. What is a beatmap you ask? Well a beatmap is sort of like the game's difficulty level system which usually consists of Easy, Normal, Hard, Insane, etc and exists for individual songs.

What's going to happen in the event?
I am going to set up a Multiplayer game in osu and be the first "host" of that lobby which means I will have first beatmap pick. I will then pass "host" to other players so we can rotate choosing beatmaps.
The password for this lobby will most likely be fpbirthday unless I state otherwise.
If you have any questions about joining the lobby, please PM me on the forums or or send me a steam message!
This will be my first time playing osu!
I've played before but I'm not very good at this game!
Do not worry! This event will consist of playing as a team. We will divide ourselves according to our current ranking in osu! If there is an uneven amount of players, the team with the "highest" rank will be the one down a player. If you are currently unranked, you can either join which ever team you want or we will use to just balance the numbers. If playing in a team is not ideal, we can always just go "head-to-head" or try out the other co-op/solo game modes.
Are there going to be prizes?
Yes! But the prizes will not depend on whether or not you're on the "winning" team. Prizes will be based on your participation. If you actively play in more than +7 beatmaps, you are welcome to pick an item under a key value from our pool. If you stay for the entire event, feel free to take a key instead!
