This won't affect most of you guys, but if you regularly donate with keys, you should probably know this so you aren't thrown for a loop next time you go to donate.
The old donation bot, which worked by accepting regular trade requests, has been retired. It was a product of an earlier time. Now, donations are accepted by the official FirePowered Steam account directly via trade offers. For those of you who don't know (most of you, probably), that Steam account is basically the official representative of FP on Steam. @rannmann and I both control it, but it owns the Steam groups, posts seeding events, posts update announcements, etc.
Anyway, the key donation page has been updated with the new info. The "Add Bot" button has been replaced with a "Send Trade Offer" button. After you open the trade offer page, just add however many keys you wish to donate into the window and send the offer. Offers that contain anything besides keys or that try to take items from the bot will be declined.
Most of the time, your offer should be accepted and validated immediately. However, when Steam is slow, erroring, or down, it may take a while. The bot tries to determine if a failure message was legit or not (since offers can return errors but still go through). But sometimes it's possible that an offer will be accepted but no benefits granted. If this happens, you should get a forum notification saying that your donation is pending. I'll also get one with your Steam ID so I can look into it and grant your benefits manually if need be.
When your donation is accepted, processed, and activated, you'll get a notification on the forums.
If you encounter any bugs or problems, please let me know.
